ANEMICS - Live or Die
ANEMICS is a Vancouver-based underground band which combines influences or surf-punk (Man or Astro-Man?, Yonatan Gat), garage sleaziness (Pavement, Pixies) and prog-math-weirdness (Adrian Belew) into a moody branch of rock and roll. Sometimes described as “Dracula surf-rock” or “skate Egypt-rock”, the band was active between 2020-2022, with their first record scheduled to be released in the summer of 2022, before its members parted ways.
“Live or Die” was their first single planned for a release alongside a music video.
